Visitor tags in backend scripts

hasTag(), addTag(), removeTag() and getTags() in backend scripts, shared with the Has Tag node and ef.hasTag().

Your funnel tagged visitors with nodes, and your backend scripts could not see those tags without knowing how they were stored.

The enemy is two halves of a funnel that cannot read each other's notes.

Backend scripts now have hasTag(), addTag(), removeTag() and getTags(). A tag set from a script is visible to the Has Tag node, to ef.hasTag() in the browser and to Script Rules, and it is visible straight away within the same request.

if (!hasTag('seen_offer')) {
  addTag('seen_offer');
}

Try it: add a tag from a page backend script, then branch on it with a Has Tag node in the funnel.
