Taboola traffic lands on your advertorial with a click ID. When the visitor buys, on any merchant, ElasticFunnels posts the conversion back to Taboola on that click.

What the Taboola integration does
ElasticFunnels stores the Taboola click ID on the visit. When a conversion is recorded it fills your postback URL with the click ID, the event name and the sale values, and sends it to Taboola.

- Limit sends to chosen merchants, and whitelist or blacklist affiliate IDs

How to connect Taboola
Each postback is logged with the URL sent and Taboola's response.
Create the event in Taboola
In Taboola Realize, create the conversion event and note its exact name. It is case-sensitive.
Add Taboola
In Settings → Integrations → Ad Platforms → Taboola, enter your Account ID and the event name. The postback URL is built for you.
Pick the click ID parameter
Choose the parameter your Taboola links append, such as click_id or taboola_click_id.
Filter and test
Optionally limit by merchant or affiliate ID, save, then click a Taboola ad and make a test purchase.

Does ElasticFunnels import Taboola ad spend?
No. The integration sends conversion postbacks to Taboola. It does not read spend or campaign data from Taboola.
Which event name should I use?
The exact name of the conversion event you created in Taboola Realize, such as purchase. It is case-sensitive.
What if my Taboola links use a different click ID parameter?
Pick it in the integration. If it is missing on a visit, ElasticFunnels also checks taboola_click_id, click_id and click-id.
Can I run several Taboola accounts?
Yes. Add one integration per account ID or event, each with its own merchant and affiliate filters.
