See what each automation step did

Each automation's Events page lists every run with its result, and a run opens on a step by step timeline with inputs, outputs and the error when a step fails.
See what each automation step did

A purchase came in, the VIP tag never reached Klaviyo, and the automations list showed 0 runs. Nothing on the screen said which step went wrong, or whether the automation ran at all.

The enemy is the automation that fails quietly.

Open an automation's Events page and every trigger is listed with its result: Completed, Failed, Step skipped or Received, with the step count, the revision and when it arrived. Click a run and a side drawer shows its steps in the order they ran, each with its status, time and duration.

Show input and output opens what a step received and returned. A failed step shows the error the provider sent back, with credentials removed. When a Continue If condition ended the run, the step says so, and the steps after it are marked Not run. The list refreshes every 10 seconds and keeps the drawer open.

Run counts on the automations list now cover the current billing period. Automations saved in the older flow format now run their email platform, CRM and validation steps, and a step the engine cannot run is logged as Failed. Steps that use an integration also update that integration's last activity.

Try it: go to Apps, then Automations, click Events on an automation's row, and click any run.
