See which email templates actually send

Each email template shows Sending, Partly sending or Not sending with the reason, a hover card lists everything that uses it, and Show: In use hides the rest.
See which email templates actually send

A customer never got the shipping email, and the template looks fine. Is anything sending it? Until now the template list could not tell you, so the answer meant checking every merchant and automation by hand.

The enemy is a template that looks ready and never goes out.

Every template now shows whether it actually goes out: Sending, Partly sending or Not sending, with the first reason on the row, such as a merchant with no sending account or a checkout that emails its own receipt. Hover the status, or focus it with the keyboard, and a card lists every merchant, course, campaign and automation that uses the template, each with its own sending dot and reason.

Set Show to In use to keep only the templates something sends today, or All to see every one. Templates sit in tabs: All, Orders, Subscriptions, Members and login, Courses and Custom. Each row also has a Default badge on the built-in template for its event, when it last went out, and the subject with merge tags shown as chips.

Open send logs in a template's menu shows what that template sent, in Settings, Logs, Email Logs. Built-in templates can be duplicated, so you can keep the original and edit a copy.

Emails sits under Apps in the Settings part of the sidebar. Brands with email campaigns switched on get Emails as its own sidebar entry instead, with Campaigns next to Templates.

Try it: open Apps, then Emails, and hover the status of any template.
