Alerts when carts stop turning into sales

Repeating problems become one issue with a count and severity, emails only when they escalate, and a new check catches carts with no sales.
Alerts when carts stop turning into sales

Your funnel gets 150 add to carts on a Monday and zero sales. Nobody notices until Friday, when someone asks why revenue is flat, and the answer is a merchant postback that was never finished.

The enemy is silence: sales you lose without anything telling you.

Settings, Alerts now lists every problem on a brand that keeps happening, as one issue with a count, when it was last seen, the last event and a severity. A new check runs every 15 minutes: when shoppers add to cart or open the checkout at least 25 times in 6 hours with no sale, and your last 14 days predicted sales in that time (or a merchant on those carts is still in Needs Setup), it opens an issue that names the cause and links to that merchant's postback setup. It closes itself when a sale comes in.

An alert issue: shoppers add to cart but no sales come in, critical, 26 times, with the merchant that is still in Needs Setup

Issues start as a warning and only email you when they escalate: after 10 occurrences or a day, and right away when they turn critical (6 hours for problems that lose sales directly). Each issue emails at most once a day and a brand gets at most 3 alert emails a day, critical ones aside. Acknowledge stops the emails and keeps counting; the issue comes back if the count doubles, a new cause appears or it is still happening a week later. Owners and admins also get one daily summary of open warnings, which each person can turn off.

Suggested fixes live on the same list. The bell at the top right now shows your open alerts, one row per problem with its count, and when ElasticFunnels can fix it for you (create a missing product, set up order emails) the row has Review, Decline and Decline all like this. Applying or declining the fix closes the alert.

Try it: click the bell, or open Settings, then Alerts. Click an issue to see its History, then Acknowledge or Resolve it.
