Invite portal affiliates from any brand

Pick Internal or External when you add an affiliate, invite a new one by email from the brand, and see why the list is empty.
Invite portal affiliates from any brand

You open a brand to add a partner from your own affiliate program, pick Internal, and the list is empty. Nothing says whether the portal is missing, the brand is not on it, or nobody has signed up yet, so you go looking through organization settings.

The enemy is an empty list that does not say why.

A brand's Create Affiliate dialog now asks for Internal (they log in to your affiliate portal) or External (tracked by sub ID or postback). With Internal you pick someone who already has a portal login, or type an email and click Send invite: ElasticFunnels creates their portal login, links them to this brand and emails a temporary password. When the list is empty, the dialog says which of the three it is and links to the portal tab that fixes it. Inviting from a brand needs permission to create portal affiliates; without it you can still pick existing ones.

The Create a new affiliate dialog with Internal selected, the Portal affiliate picker and an invite box with an email and the Send invite button

On the portal, an invite ticks every brand on the portal to start, and you untick the ones the affiliate should not promote. The Brands tab keeps one setting per brand, Status after sign-up. When it and the brand's own Default Status After Register differ, the stricter one wins, so a sign-up is approved automatically only when both say Active. New portals run on your own domain, such as partners.example.com, and the welcome email is signed with your portal's name.

Try it: open a brand's Affiliates, click Create Affiliate, choose Internal and click Invite a new affiliate.
