Quiz screens restyled, with richer intros

A visitor taps your ad on a phone and lands on a welcome screen with a headline, a button and a lot of empty space. Two questions in, the progress bar leaps from 20% to 70% because their branch skipped half the quiz, and one answer does nothing when they tap it.
The enemy is a quiz that looks and behaves like a form.
Quiz screens now follow our UI kits. Every answer has a radio dot, and the one picked gets a border and a light tint in your primary colour. An answer can carry an icon and a one-line Description under its label. Headings use a tighter type scale, and pricing boxes take the full width of a phone screen.
Welcome screens read like a landing page. Add screen offers three new templates: Rich intro, centered, Rich intro, two columns and Intro with the first question. The two rich intros open with a small eyebrow label and a big headline, then the start button, a line with the time it takes, a privacy note and Free, an inline star rating and a checklist of benefits. The two-column version adds a hero photo. You can use the parts anywhere: Arguments has a Checklist template, Rating Summary has an Inline one, and images take an Aspect ratio. On the live quiz, a welcome screen fills the first screen with its content centred, and a background image keeps the opacity, size and position you set.
On a quiz that branches, the progress bar now counts the screens on the visitor's own path. It moves forward without jumps, never goes back while they move on, and reaches 100% only on the last screen. Show "Step 2 of 6" counts the same way. Welcome screens before the first question hide the bar, unless you tick Show progress in that screen's settings.
An answer with no next screen used to leave the visitor stuck. It now goes where most of the other answers on that question go, or to the next screen. The builder lists these under Answers with no next screen above the canvas and warns you when you publish, so you can connect them in the Flow tab.
Try it: open a quiz in the builder, click Add screen and pick Rich intro, centered. Then open the quiz on your phone and answer the first question.
