ElasticFunnels connects to Meta so you can see your ad spend next to your sales and manage your campaigns from the app. You can take that access back at any time, from Facebook or from ElasticFunnels, and ask us to delete what we stored. The full details of what we collect are in section 19 of our Privacy Policy.
What we hold
When you connect a Meta ad account, we store:
- the access token Facebook issued when you signed in
- the ID and name of the ad account you connected, and your Meta pixel ID if you added one
- daily ad spend records (spend, link clicks, impressions, currency, placement, and the IDs and names of the campaign, ad set and ad).
If you signed up with "Continue with Facebook", your ElasticFunnels user account also holds your name, email address and Facebook user ID.
Remove ElasticFunnels in Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings and privacy, then Settings.
- Open Business integrations. The direct link is facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools.
- Select ElasticFunnels and click Remove, then confirm.
Meta withdraws our access right away, and ElasticFunnels can no longer read your ad accounts or change your campaigns. Removing the app in Facebook does not delete what we already stored. For that, disconnect in the app as well, or email us.
Disconnect Meta Ads in the app
- Sign in to ElasticFunnels and open the brand that uses the connection.
- Go to Integrations, then Meta Ads, then Manage integrations.
- Click the delete icon next to the connection and confirm.
From that moment the app stops syncing spend and stops reading from or making changes to your ad account. Ad spend already imported stays in your reports so past numbers do not change. To delete those records and the stored token too, email us.
Ask us to delete your data
Email [email protected] with the subject "Meta data deletion request". Send it from the email address on your ElasticFunnels account, or tell us which account and brand it concerns, so we can confirm the request is yours.
We delete the data within 30 days and reply by email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Removing the app in Facebook withdraws our access, and the stored token stops working. The connected ad account, pixel ID and imported ad spend records stay in your account.
- Disconnecting in the app stops all use of the connection. The ad account and pixel you chose are kept so that reconnecting restores them, and imported spend stays in your reports.
- An email request deletes the stored token, the connected ad account and pixel ID, and every imported ad spend record. If you signed up with Facebook, we also delete your Facebook user ID. Your name and email stay on your user account while it is open.
Conversion events you sent to Meta through the Meta Conversions API are held by Meta under its own terms. To have Meta delete them, use the tools in your Meta business account.
Deleting your whole account
If you close your ElasticFunnels account, everything above is deleted with it, on the schedule in section 10 of our Privacy Policy. To close your account or ask about anything on this page, email [email protected].
