What the Outbrain integration does
Outbrain captures the click. ElasticFunnels records the sale. When postbacks are on, each sale from an Outbrain click is sent to the Amplify conversionEvents endpoint with the order value and the click ID.

How to connect Outbrain
By default a sale is only sent when the click has an obclid. A force-send option sends it anyway, at lower match quality.
Get your Outbrain credentials
In Outbrain Amplify, generate an OB-TOKEN-V1 under API Tokens and copy your Marketer ID (in the URL as marketerId=).
Connect Outbrain
In Settings → Integrations → Ad Platforms → Outbrain Amplify, paste the token and Marketer ID and turn on conversion postbacks.
Install the Outbrain Pixel
Add the Outbrain Pixel to your landing pages as a custom script in Pages → Tracking Scripts.
Build your ad links
In Tools → Tracking → Tracking Link Builder, choose Outbrain Ads under Auto Cost Update and use the link in your campaigns.

What does the Outbrain integration send?
Purchase events. Each sale from an Outbrain click goes to the Outbrain Amplify conversions endpoint with the order value, currency, the obclid click ID, IP and user agent.
What do I need to connect Outbrain?
An Outbrain Amplify API token (OB-TOKEN-V1) and your Marketer ID. You paste both in the integration and switch on conversion postbacks.
Does ElasticFunnels import my Outbrain spend?
No. The integration sends conversions to Outbrain. Spend is not synced from Outbrain today.
Can I see which publishers sent buyers?
Yes, when your links use the Outbrain template from the Tracking Link Builder. It puts the publisher name in the UTM term, so sales show per publisher in your UTM reports.
