A sales funnel in ElasticFunnels that sells through ClickBank's order form: your pages and split tests run on your own domain, every buy button goes to ClickBank for the product you mapped, and ClickBank's IPN (instant payment notification) reports each sale back with the buyer, the product and the affiliate who sent them.
New to funnels? Read the full guide first: how to create a sales funnel, step by step covers the pages before and after the order form.
You need a ClickBank vendor account with an approved product and its Pitch Flow (ClickBank's list of the products and upsell pages in one order), and a domain connected to ElasticFunnels. This tutorial is the vendor side. If you promote other vendors' ClickBank offers as an affiliate, that is a separate integration.
1Create the ClickBank merchant
Go to Settings, then Merchants, and click Create Merchant. Pick Clickbank as the Gateway, give it a name you will recognise, and click Create & Configure.

2Enter your nickname and an encryption key
In Account ID, type your ClickBank account nickname. Click Generate random encryption key and Save. Then, in ClickBank, open Vendor Settings, My Site, Edit, and under Advanced Tools enter the same key as the secret key.

3Paste the instant notification URL
Click Test Purchase Webhook and Copy the postback URL (the address ClickBank will send each order to) under Your Postback URL. In ClickBank's Advanced Tools, paste it into the Instant Notification URL, choose version 8.0 and click Test & Save. When ClickBank's test notification arrives, the panel shows Setup Complete! and the merchant is marked verified.

4Map your ClickBank product
Open Settings, Products and the product you sell. On its Merchants tab, enter the ClickBank item number in the Product ID field for your ClickBank merchant, then Save. Do this for every product in the Pitch Flow, including upsells and downsells.

5Assign the merchant to your domain
In Settings, Domains, open the menu on your domain, click Edit, pick the ClickBank merchant under Merchant and Save. From now on, a /b?p=product-code&b=363&pg=16959 button on a page of this domain sends the visitor to ClickBank's order form for that product.

6Enter the Pitch Flow ID on the funnel
In Funnels, open your funnel's menu and click Settings. Under Domains, click Assign Domain, pick the domain, type your Clickbank Pitch Flow ID and Save. In ClickBank, point the Pitch Flow's upsell and decline pages at your funnel's page URLs.

7See every ClickBank sale
Open Reports, Conversions and filter by the ClickBank merchant. Each sale shows the ClickBank receipt as the Order ID, the product, the affiliate's nickname, the buyer and the affiliate commission. Refunds, chargebacks and rebills arrive the same way and have their own tabs.

Common mistakes
- Two different encryption keys. The key in ClickBank's Advanced Tools must be exactly the one saved on the merchant, or no sale can be read.
- An item number that is not mapped. A sale for an unknown ClickBank item is not recorded on a product; the app lists it under actions as a missing product to create.
- A domain with no merchant. Buy buttons only go to ClickBank on a domain whose merchant is the ClickBank one.
- Pitch Flow pages pointing at fixed URLs. Point them at your funnel's page URLs, so you can split test or swap the page behind a step without editing the Pitch Flow.
- Losing the affiliate's parameters. So the hop link data reaches your page and the buy link, turn on "Hop Parameter on HopLink Landing Page" in ClickBank's vendor settings.
