What the DeBounce integration does
The integration adds a DeBounce step to ElasticFunnels automations. The step sends one email to DeBounce and hands the result to the next steps, so you can stop or branch the flow.

How to connect DeBounce
ElasticFunnels checks the key with DeBounce when you save.
Get an API key
In your DeBounce account, create an API key.
Connect DeBounce
Paste the key in Settings → Integrations → Utilities → Debounce and save.
Add the validation step
In Automations, add Debounce Validate Email after the trigger, then a Continue If step on the result.

When does DeBounce check an email?
When an automation reaches the DeBounce step. Put it right after the trigger, for example a form entry or a new customer, so the check runs before any list or CRM step.
Does DeBounce block a form or checkout submission?
No. The form or order is saved first. The automation then validates the email and can stop before the address is sent anywhere else.
What counts as a valid email?
An address DeBounce marks as Safe to Send. Everything else comes back invalid, with the DeBounce reason and flags such as disposable, role or catch-all.
Does it use my DeBounce credits?
Yes. Each validation is a call to DeBounce on your own API key, billed by DeBounce.
