OpenAI integration

What it does

OpenAI models plug into the ElasticFunnels AI Page Builder and into backend scripts that run server-side on page requests. You bring your OpenAI API key, EF makes the calls for you, and every run is logged so you can see the prompt, the response, and the cost. Use it to generate a landing page from a prompt, rewrite a headline for a new angle, or draft a follow-up email in your own voice.

The same key works in backend scripts, so you can classify and score leads as they come in, summarize call-center transcripts into a CRM note, and enrich CRM entries with a clean company or role field. Calls happen server-side, keyed to your account, so your key never touches the browser. Model names and pricing move fast, so check current details on the OpenAI side before you wire a specific model into a flow.

Setup

1. In your OpenAI account, create an API key with the access you need.
2. In ElasticFunnels, go to Settings → Integrations → AI Providers → OpenAI. Paste the key.
3. Pick a default model for the AI Page Builder, or set one per backend script.
4. Write or clone a backend script that calls OpenAI for scoring, summarizing, or enrichment.
5. Run a test generation, confirm the output and the logged run appear in EF.
