Paysafe integration for ElasticFunnels

Paysafe is the payments group behind Skrill, Neteller and paysafecard, and it also runs merchant accounts for card payments, including for sellers in categories that many processors turn down. Plug that merchant account into checkout pages you build in ElasticFunnels.

What it does

What the Paysafe integration does

Paysafe.js draws the card number, expiry and CVV fields on your checkout and turns them into a single-use token for the exact total on the page. ElasticFunnels charges that token through the Paysafe Payments API.

  • The first sale stores the card with Paysafe as the initial stored credential; later charges are sent as subsequent ones
  • Upsells are one click, and renewals run on the billing schedule you set in ElasticFunnels
  • An API key that covers several card accounts, one per currency for example, takes an account number on the merchant
  • With the webhook added, refunds and cancellations made in the Paysafe Business Portal reach the order

How to connect Paysafe

Payments go to Paysafe without a 3D Secure step. If your Paysafe account forces 3D Secure on every card, ask Paysafe to switch that off for this account first.

Copy your API keys

In the Paysafe Business Portal, copy the username and password of the Secret Key and of the Single-Use Token key. Test accounts have their own keys.

Add Paysafe under Merchants

In Settings → Merchants, click Add Merchant, pick Paysafe and paste both key pairs. Add the card account number only if your key covers several accounts.

Add the webhook

In the Business Portal, add a webhook for the merchant's ElasticFunnels hook URL with the REFUND_COMPLETED and SETTLEMENT_CANCELLED events, then paste its HMAC key on the merchant.

Pick it on your checkout

Set the merchant on your checkout domain or funnel, turn Live Mode off and pay with the Paysafe test card 4037 1111 1100 0000.

FAQ

Paysafe integration FAQ

How does Paysafe work on an ElasticFunnels checkout?

The card panel shows Paysafe.js hosted fields. On submit they return a single-use payment token for the checkout total, and ElasticFunnels charges it through the Paysafe Payments API. The card number stays with Paysafe.

Which Paysafe keys do I need?

Two key pairs from the Business Portal: the Secret Key, which ElasticFunnels uses to charge and refund, and the Single-Use Token key, which loads the card fields. A card account number and a webhook HMAC key are optional.

Do one-click upsells and renewals work with Paysafe?

Yes. The checkout saves the card as an initial stored credential, and upsells and renewals charge it as subsequent payments without the card form.

Can I refund a Paysafe order on the same day?

In full, yes: before Paysafe settles the payment, a full refund cancels it. A partial refund has to wait until the payment has settled.

Do Paysafe chargebacks show up in ElasticFunnels?

Paysafe does not send chargebacks by webhook, so the webhook covers refunds and cancellations. Handle disputes in the Business Portal.

What does ElasticFunnels charge on Paysafe payments?

A 0.5% processing fee on revenue that runs through gateways ElasticFunnels operates, Paysafe included. Paysafe bills its own fees separately.

Sell with Paysafe

Paysafe.js fields on your own checkout, with upsells and renewals on the saved card.
