What the Plivo integration does
Plivo has no automation steps of its own. It works as a sender, like a Twilio number: the Send SMS step hands the text to your brand's SMS settings, which run the checks and send it from your Plivo number.
- Text buyers and leads from automations through the Send SMS step, marketing or transactional
- STOP, HELP and START replies are handled for you, and STOP adds the number to the suppression list
- Every text passes the suppression list, quiet hours, consent and state rules before it leaves
- Each text shows in Settings → Logs → SMS as Sent, then Delivered, Undelivered or Failed

How to connect Plivo
Plivo allows one application per number. Configure webhooks attaches the ElasticFunnels application, so use a number that is only for texting.
Connect Plivo
In Apps → Integrations → Plivo, add a connection and paste the Auth ID and Auth Token from the Plivo console overview page.
Add a sender
In Settings → SMS → Senders, pick the Plivo connection and one of its SMS numbers or Powerpacks.
Configure webhooks
Click Configure webhooks on the sender. Replies come back to ElasticFunnels without copying a URL into Plivo.
Check registration and consent
Refresh the 10DLC or toll-free status, then accept the marketing consent statement on the Compliance tab.
