Telnyx SMS integration
Use Telnyx as the carrier behind your brand's texts. Automation texts, test sends and STOP, HELP and START replies go out from your own Telnyx numbers or messaging profiles.

What the Telnyx integration does
Telnyx has no automation steps of its own. It works as a sender, the same way a Twilio number does: the Send SMS step hands the text to your brand's SMS settings, which run the checks and send it from your Telnyx number.
- Text buyers and leads from automations through the Send SMS step, marketing or transactional
- STOP, HELP and START replies are handled for you, and STOP adds the number to the suppression list
- Every text passes the suppression list, quiet hours, consent and state rules before it leaves
- Webhooks without a valid Telnyx signature, or more than 5 minutes off, are refused

How to connect Telnyx
The reply webhook belongs to the messaging profile, not the number. Every number on that profile sends its replies to ElasticFunnels afterwards.
Get your keys
In the Telnyx portal under Keys & Credentials, create an API key (it starts with KEY) and copy your public key.
Connect Telnyx
In Apps → Integrations → Telnyx, add a connection and paste the API key and the webhook public key.
Add a sender
In Settings → SMS → Senders, pick the Telnyx connection and one of its numbers or messaging profiles.
Configure webhooks
Click Configure webhooks on the sender, refresh the registration status, then accept the marketing consent statement.
