What the Mailgun integration does
You build the email in ElasticFunnels. Mailgun delivers it. Pick Mailgun as the email integration on a merchant for order emails, or add a Mailgun step to any automation.
- Order emails for a merchant: new purchase, refund, shipped, cancelled

How to connect Mailgun
The from address must be one Mailgun is authorised to send for on your domain. If brand SMTP is set under Settings → Emailing, it takes priority for order emails.
Get your key and domain
In the Mailgun dashboard, copy your API key and the verified sending domain.
Connect Mailgun
In Settings → Integrations → Email Marketing → Mailgun, enter the API key, the domain and an optional default sender.
Pick where it sends
Select it under Merchants → Email → Email Integration, or add a Mailgun Send Email step to an automation.

Which ElasticFunnels emails can go through Mailgun?
Merchant order emails (new purchase, refund, shipped, cancelled), subscription emails on NMI and Stripe merchants, and any Send Email step in an automation.
Where do I design the emails?
In Emails, the ElasticFunnels email builder. The Mailgun step and the merchant email slots pick a template from there. Mailgun only delivers it.
What do I need from Mailgun?
An API key and a verified sending domain. The from address must be allowed to send on that domain.
I also set SMTP under Settings, Emailing. Which one sends?
Brand SMTP takes priority for order emails. The Mailgun integration on the merchant is used when the brand has no SMTP configured, and automation steps always use the integration they name.
